Weddings | Makeup and Hair | Chilliwack

Here is a glimpse of just some of our past wedding season. 2016 went by way to fast for us but we enjoyed every minute of it! As we are organizing with our 2017 brides and clients, I couldn’t help do a recap of my teams previous year and show off our gorgeous clients and vedors we were able to work with!

Amie & Darren | The Falls Golf Course | Chilliwack BC

Bridal Makeup + Bridesmaid makeup, Chilliwack

I had the privilege creating Amie’s bridal makeup look for her wedding day that was held at The Falls Golf Course and The Camp River Hall in Rosedale. Her 3 bridesmaids and herself got ready at the Travelodge Inn in Chilliwack the morning of her wedding. Montana’s Bridal Hair and I got to spend the morning with the bridal party. It was so special to be apart of her day as I had met Amie one year ago when she was a bridesmaid at a wedding we booked and she immediately booked us for her day. My past bride was a bridesmaid and I went to high school with another bridesmaid. She is one of the most relaxed bride with such a sweet heart. I love how the photos turned out by M.Houser Photography, she really captured the detail of my work. The time of year with the backdrop of The Falls Golf course for the ceremony was perfect. Thank you for letting me be apart of your day!

Chelsea & Blake | Shoebox Photography | The Falls Golf Course, Chilliwack BC

It was so nice to be apart of Chelsea’s wedding day since we went to the same highschool and worked together. Her bridal party, Mom and herself were such a relaxed wonderful group to be with for hair and makeup on the morning of her wedding. Shoebox Photography was also there the morning of taking the action and detail shots. They had their ceremony and reception at The Falls Golf Course. Chelsea has very healthy hair so to hold a curl was our main goal of the day, especially with the weather that was on the forecast. They had their photos during the wind/rain storm and at the end of it all before the ceremony her hair stayed in place. This was her review from our services.

“Amanda! The make-up and hair at my wedding was absolutely phenomenal!! It was so great to work with you and your assistants. All of the girls looked amazing. My biggest concern was that my hair would lose the curl in the rain but despite it POURING rain during all of our photos my curls held throughout the entire night!! It looked so great that guests were asking if I had re-done my hair between photos and the reception. I couldn’t have been happier with the work that you did for me and my bridal party. I would absolutely recommend Amanda and Fraser Valley Makeup for any occasion! Thank you SO much!!!!”

For makeup on Chelsea we went with more of brown and greys for the eyes, with blushing cheek color and a neutral lipstick from Clinique. Each of her bridesmaids all had a specific look they wanted to have done, so my artists Lianne ( hair ) and Stefanie ( makeup ) all helped out to make our clients happy.

Also a shout out to Chelsea’s step dad for designing the best wedding dress saver in the world!! Her dress stayed in excellent condition throughout photos before the ceremony

Lilly Ann Photography | Cheyenne & Cory | The Falls Golf Club

Lilly Ann Photography ( L-a Photography ) took charge or Cheyenne & Cory’s wedding day on April 5, 2014. The ceremony and reception was help at The Falls Golf Club. Fraser Valley Makeup and Paragon Hair Design set up shop at Cheyenne’s parents house in Sardis to get the group of 11 ready! My assistant and I went with a deep purple/eggplant and neutral tones for the lid space, every client in my chair got a strip of false lashes to gain some extra definition for the photos ( this is mandatory for weddings ) and airbrushed foundation. The Bride ( Cheyenne ) was at ease the whole morning, I had her makeup done with rollers setting in her hair around 10 am, she wanted a touch of lilac and purple with more depth in the eye socket. She has such pretty eyes to work with so this really made her eyes sparkle. It was nice hearing for the rest of the morning at the house getting them ready how gorgeous she was, how beautiful her complexion looked, how her eyes really popped. All I did was enhance her features
I was there for the photographer’s touch up photos, and I stayed until she was in her dress for a last look over too. I made sure I left a tube of DUO Lash adhesive, a full size lip gloss , q-tips to soak up any tears without harming the makeup and a waterproof mascara for her honeymoon ! Congratulations you two!
