As we are organizing with our 2017 brides and clients, I couldn’t help do a recap of my teams previous year and show off our gorgeous clients and vedors we were able to work with!

Nikki & Brian | Emmy Lou Virginia Photography | Mt. Lehman Country Farms, Abbotsford

Nikki and her hubby got married at the Mt. Lehman Country Farms in beautiful Abbotsford BC. Her wedding appointment started at noon and my team of 3 artists and myself had the group of 6 hair and makeup finished by 2:30. It was so fun being around this group! There was lots going on at the venue, between the food done by the bride and the other 3 chefs in the wedding party, photography by Emmy Lou Virginia Photography, presents and lots of laughing!! We did her trial just 2 days before her wedding which was a first for me leaving it so last minute. Either way, we were both glad that we did the trial because we ended up changing her makeup and hair look from the trial – the wedding day! I used colors from the Makeup Geek line for her eyes, tight lined her eyes with a dark brown for extra lash definition, applied a beautiful pair of false lashes. I love how her highlight and contour shows up in the photography. I loved creating this bridal look for Nikki! For hair she wanted lots of height around the crown keeping it smooth and sleek. The back we kept very neat with defined curls loosely pinned in place for an elegant, romantic feel. To finish off the look she chose a fascinator and a lush flower for her accessories. I love how it just polished up the look even more!

Breanna’s wedding was such a well thought out day! It was a pleasure getting her bridal party ready. My assistants Lianne, Melody and myself arrived at Mt Lehman Country Farms for our appointment of Makeup and hair. Mt Lehman Country Farms is beautiful, it is tucked away at the North End of Abbotsford, BC. We were welcomed by the owner and she was very accommodating to anything the bride needed during the morning. All of the bridesmaids wanted hair in different hair styles and their makeup look was their choice too, except the lip colors everyone had the same. Breanna, had her makeup and hair look planned over 4 months prior to her wedding day from the Trial we had. We went with a half up hair style with curls created from my tapered curling wand. Her hair was beautiful blonde and looked so perfect. For makeup we did airbrushed foundation, light contouring, pretty pink cheeks, pink lips and played up her eyes with shimmery shades or taupe and greys. I loved how my assistants and I worked together too ! Smile Beautiful Photography was there from 10 am to later in the evening, they were so easy to work with while we were getting them already. Blooms and Beyond arrived with the most beautiful bouquets I have ever seen before. There was lots of love, laughs and smiles during the morning. She surprised her fiance with an amazing wedding present, a brand new dirt bike. They recorded the gift opening which is captured by the photographer.
