Lori & Daniel had their Summer Solstice wedding, June 20th in Yarrow BC. Rachel Barkman Photography took care of the couple and wedding party for the day at Cultus Lake and at Lori’s parents house for the wedding and reception. Myself and two assistants, Taylor and Stefanie took are of the group of 7 early in the morning so the girls could head out for their hair appointment. Bride Lori had a spray tan appointment with me 2 days before the wedding to have a natural glow to her skin for photos, I think it looked amazing. For her bridal makeup we tried a few looks out at her trial, colors from golds, taupes to red on the lips to match her bridesmaids dresses. Even though we both loved the red lips, after a popular tally, peachy nude lips and gold tones around the eyes were the winner. Brands I used for Lori and the bridesmaids were, Makeup geek foiled eyeshadow ( untamed ), Smashbox blush, bronzer and highlight palette, and clinique products just to name a few. I airbrushed Lori’s foundation to create a light weight fuller coverage that didn’t cake up or attract dry or oily areas. A few long wearing tricks are super important to keep everyone’s makeup long wearing and perfect all day after we leave. I’m so happy that everyone loved their makeup, Thank you so much for booking us for your memorable day. I love the color theme of this wedding especially for a summer wedding!
