This was a stunning day! From the dress, hair + Makeup, Venue and flowers, Oh my! Paige is such a natural beauty, her bridal hair and makeup seemed to happen so effortlessly! Bridal hair she decided to go with a side swept dutch-fishtail frenchbraid with loose beachy waves. Makeup was perfection, we created a soft cool tone and shimmery smokey eye with everything else matte, contoured and full coverage created by airbrushed foundation.

The bridesmaids all got to pick their own look from makeup + hair!

Here is a glimpse of just some of our past wedding season. 2016 went by way to fast for us but we enjoyed every minute of it! As we are organizing with our 2017 brides and clients, I couldn’t help do a recap of my teams previous year and show off our gorgeous clients and vedors we were able to work with!

Melanie & Lane | Samantha Jiwa Photography | Fraser River Lodge Weddings

Melanie’s wedding was located at the Fraser River Lodge. It had such beautiful decor, finishing touches and lovely clients! My artists, Shana ( makeup ), Jolene ( hair ) and myself arrived on the wedding morning and started makeup and hair. Everyone was very organized as to what they wanted done which was great for us. Most of our clients of the day were celiac ( gluten sensitive ) thankfully we are prepared for any situation. We used Sweet LeiLani and Lippy Girl cosmetics for the makeups. For Melanie’s makeup we went with a classic bridal look with soft eye definition and highlights. She purchased a lippy girl lipstick for touch ups throughout the day/evening in Schmoopy. Links are listed below for these cosmetic lines. We did a beautiful chignon hair style for Melanie to showcase her stunning hair band. It was so great being apart of your day! I wish you and Lane the best in your future together.

Rachelle & Geddert | Sharalee Prang Photography | Fraser River Fishing Lodge

Rachelle & Geddert’s wedding was held at the Fraser River Fishing Lodge on Jan 18. The morning of we got ready at her house where we had her trial on the same wedding week!! Rachelle is super laid back and was truly, so nice to work with. She had such beautiful features that came out so easily! Her favourite thing was the airbrushed foundation ( which held up through the wind, rain and humidity that day ) She was in complete awe when I revealed it to her. Thank you Sharalee Prang Photography for capturing such a special photo of the the reveal, i will post that photo at the bottom. I used a beautiful shimmery-taupy shadow mostly on her lid and put it underneath to add more definition to the eyes with false lashes applied to complete her makeup. The newly weds headed to mexico right after the wedding to soak up the sun:) Thank you to her awsome parents for finding me at a wedding show! She is a very busy one and didnt have time to do most of the wedding work, so it was nice seeing them be so interested in me at the wedding show.
